To stop a connected AI app from making further requests to Penny, open Settings → Connections.
In the MCP clients section, find the connection you want to remove. Use its name, device hint, and first or last seen date to distinguish it from another connection. Select Disconnect, then confirm the dialog. After a successful disconnection, the connection is marked Revoked. The app must complete a new connection and authorization flow before it can use Penny again.
Disconnecting blocks future requests from that authorization, including requests made after its token refreshes. It does not delete the notes and memories already in your Penny account, and it does not remove information that the AI app has already received.
The same settings page has a separate Plugin tokens section. If a coding plugin uses a plugin token as well as an MCP connection, review both sections when you want to stop all of its Penny access.
If the dashboard shows an error after you disconnect, check the connection's current status before assuming access has stopped. Contact support if the connection remains active or the action keeps failing. Include its displayed name and the error, not a token.
