Export everything from your dashboard anytime. Open Settings → Privacy and find Export your memory.
Choose the format that fits what you want to do:
- JSON gives you a complete portable copy for backup or moving data to another tool.
- Markdown (.zip) gives you a file for each memory, suitable for reading in a notes app.
- Trackers CSV (.zip) gives you trackers and their entries for a spreadsheet.
Select Download for the format you want, and wait for the file to finish preparing. Keep the download in a location you control. Exporting makes a copy; it does not remove data from Penny or disconnect your AI apps.
If your session has expired, sign in again and restart the download. If you are offline, reconnect first. A message saying the export service could not be reached while you are online can indicate a service setup problem; contact support and mention the export. For other preparation errors, wait a minute and retry, then contact support if they continue.
Downloaded files contain your memory in a readable format. Share them only with a person or tool you intend to give that information to.
