Track habits, measurements, and recurring logs

Create a tracker with a clear definition, record entries, and review the history.

Updated October 12, 2026

A tracker keeps repeated observations together so you can review them over time. Use one for a habit, a numeric measurement, progress toward a goal, or an event log.

Open Trackers and create a New tracker. Choose a name, Kind, and description. State exactly what an entry means. For a reading tracker, you might choose Metric, describe “pages read in one session,” and set the unit to pages.

Open the tracker and use Log entry:

  1. Enter the Value you observed.
  2. Add a Date if the observation happened earlier; otherwise the date defaults to now.
  3. Add a short Note when context helps explain the entry.
  4. Submit the entry, then check the history.

Your connected AI can also record entries. For example: “Log 18 pages in my reading tracker for yesterday, with a note that I finished the first chapter.” Ask it to read the saved entry if accuracy matters.

Use the same units and meaning each time so comparisons remain useful. A habit entry records whether you completed something; a metric records a number. The tracker page provides history, charts, and available summaries. Review the underlying entries when a result seems surprising, and select Correct entry on the individual entry rather than adding a second observation to cancel it out.
